Good scratcher bed, flakes still happen

Overall I like it and my cat uses it daily. The dense corrugate helps, but there are still bits of cardboard to sweep up around the box. If you hate any mess at all, keep that in mind—but my cat’s happiness makes it worth it.

Well made, my cat still rotates between this and old boxes

The plaid box is sturdy and the insert is definitely nicer than a regular box, but my cat still splits her time between this and whatever random box just arrived. Not a flaw in the product, just classic cat behavior.

Cat ignored it until I sprinkled catnip

At first my cat was more interested in the shipping box it came in (of course). Once I sprinkled a bit of catnip on the insert and moved it to her favorite corner, she started scratching and now naps in it regularly.

Nice quality, corners will show wear over time

The box itself is sturdy and the print is cute. After a month of heavy use, a couple of the top edges have small claw marks. Totally expected with cardboard, just something to be aware of if you want it to stay pristine.

Great overall, check size for big chonks

My 11 lb cat fits perfectly in the large box, but I don’t think my friend’s 16 lb cat would be as comfy. I’d recommend the large size for average cats and slim chonks, and maybe something bigger if your cat is very large.
